Panels formed to consider promotions in Transport Dept
Hyderabad, March 12 (INN): The Telangana Government has constituted a screening committee for filling up of the Second-Level Gazetted posts in Transport Department.
The Screening Committee, comprising of Transport Commissioner and Commissioners of Technical Education and Commercial Taxes, will consider the cases of feeder categories i.e., Motor Vehicles Inspectors and Administrative Officers working in Transport Department, for promotion as Regional Transport Officer / Assistant Secretary i.e., Second Level Gazetted posts in Transport Department.
In a separate GO, the State Government constituted another screening committee to consider the cases of Senior Assistants working in Transport Department for promotion as Administrative Officers. This screening committee comprises of Transport Commissioner as Member & Convener and Engineer-in-Chief (Admin) of Roads & Buildings Department and Commissioner of Commercial Taxes as members.
