Mission Kakatiya works are in progress: Harish Rao
Hyderabad, March 13 (INN): Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Friday informed the Telangana Legislative Assembly that the works related to restoration of minor irrigation tanks are at various stages of execution.
Replying to a question raised by MLA N Bhaskar Rao and others during Question Hour, the minister informed that the budget provision for the year 2014-15 is Rs 2,016 crore. So far, the Administrative Approvals are given for 4,374 number of works costing around Rs 1484.88 crore under Mission Kakatiya. Of them, 3,105 tenders have been called and 1324 have been finalised. As many as 801 agreements have concluded as on February 28, 2015.
