KCR assures one lakh jobs in Two years Hyderabad, March 14 (INN): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday assured that the State Government would begin recruitment for various departments soon after the receipt of Kamalnathan Committee's report.
Replying to the issues raised by Leader of the Opposition D Srinivas in Legislative Council during debate on State Budget, the Chief Minister said that the government proposed to provide jobs to one lakh youth in the next two years. He said that the Telangana State Public Service Commission has also initiated the process to begin recruitments into various departments. However, the findings of Kamalnathan Committee would be important in identifying the posts which need to be created and filled. Compared to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana had more number of Class-IV employees, he said.
The Chief Minister also assured that the government would fill all the vacant posts of Urdu teachers in the State. He said nearly 2,000 posts in Urdu schools are lying vacant and they would be filled soon. He also made it clear that the next DSC exams would not be held unless the process of rationalisating of schools.
