18 booked for malpractices in inter exam Hyderabad, March 16 (INN): Nearly 6.35% of registered candidates abstained from the intermediate examination held across the Telangana State on Monday.
According to Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), of 368,898 candidates in General and 42,169 candidates in Vocational categories, about 6.35% abstained from appearing for Mathematics - IB, Zoology'I or History - I exam. A total of 18 cases of malpractice have been booked against the candidates.
The BIE had sent Observers to Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad Districts. The examination has been conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, the board said in a press release.
