AP CS holds review meeting on DIPP proposals
Hyderabad, March 16 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao held a meeting on Monday at the A.P. Secretariat on the action points communicated by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Govt. of India to the State Governments to facilitate the ease of doing business.
The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has circulated 98 recommendations to State Governments in 12 areas on "creating an enabling framework for simulating investments in manufacturing" with specific timelines for each action. The states will be ranked, based on the above recommendations.
The Chief Secretary said that for ensuring ease of doing business, an attempt has been made to segregate the recommendations for each Department to capture the 98 recommendations.
Secretary Industries SS Rawat, Commissioner Commercial Tax Syamala Rao, Member Secretary Pollution Control Board BSS Prasad and others attended the meeting.
