Metro Water Board seizes assets
Hyderabad, March 17 (INN): The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board invoked the RR Act by confiscating mobile assets for non-payment of dues from two defaulters under the jurisdiction of O&M Division. No.X, Sahebnagar here on Tuesday.
The occupants of the premises of Plot.No.23, Chitrseema Colony, LB Nagar with CAN No. 0612992603 (failed to pay the dues Rs.22,587/-), Plot.No.46, Besides ICE Factory Line, LB Nagar with CAN No. 0614590427 (failed to pay the dues Rs.20,176/-), already under disconnection, served Red Notice and Form-I under the RR Act for seizing assets but still the customers failed to pay the dues.
Hence, under the RR Act, the moveable assets proportionate to the dues like bikes etc, were seized In the presence of senior officials.
