Investigations are on in CMRF funds misuse: Dy CM
Hyderabad, March 20 (INN): Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Mohammed Mahmoood Ali on Friday admitted that a huge sum of money was siphoned off from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund under the guise of claiming medical reimbursement through fake medical bills issued by certain private hospitals in the State.
Replying to a question raised by MLA G Balaraju and others during Question Hour in Legislative Assembly, the Deputy CM said the Crime Investigation Department of Telangana Police is investigating into the matter and action would be taken after the receipt of final report.
