When Turkey became Ireland in Telugu
Hyderabad, March 22 (INN): The Turkish Consulate General in Hyderabad tried to score a point by having its logo in four languages. However, wrong translation in Telugu has put the officials in an embarrassing situation during the launch event on Sunday.
The Turkish Consulate has prepared its logo in English, Hindi, Telugu and Urdu languages. But the officials did not notice that instead of "Turkey", the Telugu translation read "Ireland".
The officials were shocked when the media representatives pointed out the mistake at the time of launch.
However, the Consulate officials promised that they would immediately carry out the correction and come out with the correct logo.
