Works on for construction of Bhavans: Dy CM Hyderabad, March 23 (INN): Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari on Monday disclosed the details of funds and land sanctioned by the State Government for the construction of Bhavans for the people of various castes and communities for their social and cultural development in the city of Hyderabad.
Replying to a question raised by MLA G Balaraju and others, the Deputy CM informed that Babu Jagjeevan Ram Bhavan is being constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 crore on one acre of land at Road No 10, Banjara Hills under Scheduled Caste Development Department. Similarly, Rs 2.40 crore and one acres of land each has been sanctioned for Kumaram Bheem Adivasi Bhavan and Banjara Bhavan at Plot No 24, Banjara Hills under Tribal Welfare Department.
The Christian Bhavan will come up on 2 acres of land at Marrepally at a cost of Rs 10 crore. Likwise, the Doddi Komraiah Memorial Bhavan is being constructed on 1 Acre 20 Guntas under BC Welfare Department at a cost of Rs 5 crore.
The Deputy CM also informed that Rs 10 lakh has been sanctioned for Kerela Bhavan under the Special Development Fund for Welfare and Development Activities under Planning Department.
