Over 24% students abstain from inter exams
Hyderabad, March 24 (INN): A whopping 24.85 per cent of students abstained from the intermediate examination held across the Telangana State on Tuesday.
According to Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), of 26,353 registered candidates, as many as 6,550 or 24.85% students abstained from appearing for Geology - I, Home Science - I, Public Administration - I, Logic - I or Bridge Course Mathematics - I (for BPC students). No cases of malpractice have been booked on Tuesday.
The examination has been conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, the board said in a press release.
