Cyberabad CP revamps Security Council
Hyderabad, March 25 (INN): In view of the upcoming needs for increased security awareness not only from the terror angle but also for the safety of the women employees in the IT corridor, the Society for Cyberabad Security Council has been revamped by Cyberabad Commissioner CV Anand, who is also the SCSC Chairman, in consultation with the EC members and IT Industry leaders.
It had been noticed that the several initiatives taken up by the Cyderabad Police and SCSC together were not percolating down to a large number of employees due to a disconnect between SCSC and the IT company managements and the lack of penetration/presence of SCSC on several IT companies campuses.
With a view to bring HYSEA (Hyderabad Software enterprises Association) and NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies) and other IT Associations on board the SCSC, representatives from both organizations have been brought in as office bearers.
MR Bharani Kumar Aroll, VP India Operations & Global IT/BPO Services, Butler America, will be the new Secretary of SCSC replacing MR. Sreenivas Prasad, Mr. Srikanth, Regional Director of NASSCOM will be the new Joint Secretary- Operations. DCP Madhapur will henceforth be the convenor of the SCSC.
