BC Commission to hold public hearing from April 8
Hyderabad, March 24 (INN): The National Commission for Backward Classes will hold a public hearing at Hyderabad on 8th, 9th and 10th April for the inclusion of castes/communities/sub-castes/synonyms.
The Commission will also look into verification of existence, area restriction and correcting/deleting/adding/altering the spellings of the names of castes/communities in the Central List of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) for the State of Telangana.
A total of 27 castes/communities will be taken up under category (i) and 46 castes/communities will be taken up under category (ii) for consideration at the public hearing.
