Devi Prasad says it's defeat of TRS
Hyderabad, March 25 (INN): TRS candidate G Devi Prasad Rao has described the results of elections for Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad Graduates' constituency of Telangana Legislative Council as the defeat of Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
Reacting on his defeat against BJP candidate N Ramchandra Rao, Devi Prasad alleged that all opposition parties have unitedly conspired to defeat the TRS. He also admitted that unemployed youth and some employees were unhappy with the government over delay in recruitment process and payment of fitment allowance. However, he said over 40,500 votes secured by him was a clear indication that the welfare schemes being implemented by the TRS Government have been well received by the people. He thanked all the employees and youth who voted for him. He also congratulated Ramchandra Rao on winning the elections.
Devi Prasad said that the reasons for his defeat would be analysed and discussed in the party soon.
