Sack Gajapathi Raju from cabinet: Ponguleti
Hyderabad, April 8 (INN): Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Wednesday demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi sack Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju from the cabinet for violating the safety norms.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Ponguleti said that the Union Minister has confessed in public that he carried matchboxes with him on flights which is a clear violation of rules. He said rules cannot be different for common man and ministers and therefore, based on Gajapathi Raju's confession, he should be removed from the Union Cabinet.
The Congress MLC also demanded a high level probe into the encounter killings at Alair of Tuesday.
