Telangana CS meeting with World Bank Officials Hyderabad, April 15: Government of Telangana have held an interactive meeting with World Bank Officials on Wednesday. Dr.Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary to Government presented broad outline of the Government priorities and the flagship programmes that are being undertaken for achieving accelerated growth and development in the state.
The Special Secretary (Finance), Principal Secretary (Planning) have explained the overall scenario of the state and the financial strengths and challenges that the new state is facing.
The Principal Secretaries, Secretaries of the Various departments have explained the flagship programmes taken up by their department and perceived advantages to be derived from these projects along with the financial implications of the projects.
The World Bank officials evinced lot of enthusiasm and interest in these programmes and promised to consider to be partnering in some of the projects.
Spl. C.S (Finance), Prl.Secy (Plg), Prl. Secy (I&CAD), Prl. Secy (PR&RD), Prl. Secy (EFS&T), Spl. Secy (Fin-IF), Secy (I&C, Energy), Commissioner (Industries), M.D., Telangana Drinking Water Supply Corp., PCCF were also present in the meeting.
