Dattatreyya inspect rain-hit fields
Hyderabad, April 15 (INN): Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreyya on Wednesday inspected the crops which were lost due to unseasonal rains in the last few days in Telangana State.
Dattatreyya began his tour from Tatipally village in Jagtial mandal of Karimnagar district. He also visited other villages and interacted with the farmers on the losses to their crops due to untimely rains. Finance Minister Eatala Rajender and Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao also joined the Union Minister and brought to his attention the loopholes in the crop insurance scheme. They sought his help in getting Central assistance for the farmers who lost their crops
