Ministers get funds for constituencies development Hyderabad, April 16 (INN): The Telangana Government on Thursday authorized 10 ministers to approve the proposals worth Rs 75 lakh in each constituency in the State under the Constituency Development Programme.
On January 12, the State Government had accorded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs 1.5 crore per each MLA/MLC constituency for taking up developmental works during 2014-15. The District Collectors were permitted to accord sanctions for an amount of Rs 75 lakh in each constituency by obtaining the proposals from the MLAs/MLCs concerned and it was also indicated that instructions would be issued separately for the balance 50% amount (Rs 75 lakh) per each MLA/MLC constituency.
The State Government authorized one minister for each of the 10 districts to approve the proposals for the balance 50% amount of Rs 75 lakh per each MLA/MLC constituency of the allocation under Constituency Development Programme in those districts. The authoriised ministers are: Jogu Ramanna (Adilabad); Eatala Rajender (Karimanagar); Kadiam Srihari (Warangal); Nayani Narasimha Redd (Hyderabad); P Mahender Reddy (Ranga Reddy); T Harish Rao (Medak); Pocharam Srinivas Reddy (Nizamabad); G Jagadish Reddy (Nalgonda) and Tummala Nageshwara Rao (Khammam).
