207,500 dollars raised by NATS
North America Telugu Society successfully conducted a fund raising event on April 18th, at Luxor Banquet Hall in Dallas metropolitan area to promote and raise funds for 2015 NATS Sambaralu, going to be held in Los Angeles from July 2nd to July 4th, 2015.
Around 300 plus members of NATS Dallas Chapter attended this event to discuss upcoming Sambaralu updates and to donate funds on behalf of Dallas Chapter. Sambaralu co-convener, Prasad Papudesi represented the Sambaralu team at the fund raising event. He presented key activities of 2015 sambaralu which were well received and appreciated by the members of the Dallas chapter.
It was an evening filled with memories of 2013 sambaralu, musical events by local talent (kids & adults) and fund raising activities. The Dallas chapter team did an excellent job of coordinating the event, bringing community together and successfully raised a grand total of 207,000 dollars. This amount is one of the highest raised by any NATS Local Chapter in USA.
The event was supported by all local organizations, media partners and local businesses. The NATS LA Sambaralu team thanked Dallas chapter team for an outstanding job and tireless efforts in ensuring grand success of 2015 NATS Sambaralu. 2015 NATS Sambaralu will be held from July 2nd to 5th at Anahiem Convention Center, Los Angeles, USA.
