HC Division: TRS MPs call on Sadanand Goud Hyderabad, May 8 (INN): A delegation of TRS MPs on Friday called on Union Law Minister Sadanand Goud and demanded that the process of division of High Court be completed within 15 days.
The delegation was led by TRS Secretary General and Rajya Sabha MP K Keshav Rao. Speaking to media persons later, Keshav Rao said that the Section 31 and 32 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, envisages formation of separate High Courts for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. However, despite completion of one year, the High Court is yet to be divided. He claimed that people of Telangana have no trust on the joint High Court.
Sadanand Goud has assured to resolve the issue within 15 days.
