Lokesh met Governor Bobby Jindal Louisiana, May 13: Nara Lokesh had a very productive meeting with Bobby Jindal, Governor of Louisiana and the Vice Chairman of the Republican Governors Association that lasted a good 45 minutes. Born to immigrants from India, Jindal's phenomenal rise to extraordinary heights is the stuff of legends. A warm, affectionate person, Jindal played terrific host to the meeting. They discussed several potential areas in trade and investments between Louisiana and Andhra Pradesh that would prove to be mutually beneficial.
Jindal expressed his pleasure about the significant improvement in the "ease of doing business in India" and the Government's initiatives. He felt that since corporate giants of the likes of Microsoft and Oracle were ready to do business with Nara Chandrababu Naidu's government in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, companies should not have any hesitation to follow suit now.
Nara Lokesh explained in detail the measures taken by Nara Chandrababu Naidu to improve the business climate in Andhra Pradesh and requested Jindal to send a trade delegation to further the objective of investing in AP. He has evinced interest to do so.

Jindal acknowledged the work that Nara Chandrababu Naidu had done during his first stint as Chief Minister of united AP and felt happy that he was re-elected. He asked Nara Lokesh to convey his best wishes to AP Chief Minister. Speaking on the occasion, Nara Lokesh said, 'I am really confident that today's meeting will go a long way in laying foundation for a long, fruitful partnership between AP and the State of Louisiana.'
