NSUI stages dharna against hike in petrol prices Hyderabad, May 16 (INN): Several activists of National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Saturday held a protest against the increase in prices of petrol and diesel.
The NSUI activists held a dharna near Gandhi Bhavan and also burnt the effigy of Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. NSUI National President Rozi John and State President B Venkat Narsing Rao alleged that recent hike in petrol prices would increase the fuel cost for consumers by almost 30 per cent. They threatened to stage massive protests if the hike is not withdrawn.
