Rs 16 lakh released to rehabilitate surrendered extremists
Hyderabad, May 16 (INN): The Telangana Government on Saturday released Rs 16 lakh for the rehabilitation of five surrendered extremists of CPI (Maoist).
The surrendered extremists are Bandi Ramesh, Biraboina Bixapathi, Reddaboina Swamy, Chetkuri Shyamala and Pada Rukmini. While Ramesh has been given Rs 4 lakh, Bixapathi and Swamy have been given Rs 5 lakh each towards rehabilitation. The other surrendered extremists, Shymala and Rukmini will get Rs 1 lakh each as part of rehabilitation package.
