Lokesh completes US tour
Nara Lokesh, son of Chandra Babu Naidu, CM of AP State, and Convener of TDP Workers Welfare Fund has completed his 10 day US Tour.
A visibly happy and satisfied Lokesh spoke about his 10 day tour from 3rd to 12th May where in he met President Obama, Governor- Texas state and Governor - Louisiana state and held several Business meetings with Senior Officials of leading Companies and Entrepreneurs. He also visited over 7 cities namely Las Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New Jersey, Washington DC, Dallas, New Orleans, met over 5000 NRIs, participated in Car Rallies in almost all cities, addressed huge meetings inviting them to adopt villages under Smart Village/ Ward to Smart AP program.
Speaking on the encouraging response he received every where for Smart Village/ Ward program, Lokesh said that NRIs always have a strong bonding with mother land and also with TDP as he practically saw their support and commitment when he administered Bring Babu Back campaign before elections. His appeal for NRIs inviting them to participate in the development of villages under Smart Village/ ward towards Smart AP has resulted in not only NRIs in USA signing over 2400 villages, but also opened the doors for a long and continuous interaction between Govt of AP and NRIs in the next few years.
Explaining the outcome of his Business meetings, Lokesh said that Corporate companies have shown interest in starting their offices in AP State and several Entrepreneurs have agreed to invest in AP state by establishing their businesses in AP state.
Lokesh also said that his meetings with President Obama and Governor Greg Abbott, Governor Bobby Jindal are very successful and have given confidence that AP State can explore for increased Trade and Business opportunities with US in the coming period.
