Ganta demands share for AP in NIT
Hyderabad, May 20 (INN): Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao on Wednesday demanded that the students of Andhra Pradesh be given quota in the National Institute of Technology - Warangal.
Speaking to media persons here, Ganta said a representation has already been made with the Central Government demanding that the NIT-Waranal seats be divided between Telangana and AP on 50:50 basis. He said that the State Government would ensure that injustice is not done with the AP students in admissions into Central institutions located in Telangana State.
