KCR directs to improve power supply Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has directed the officials to improve the power supply in the areas of Old City of Hyderabad.
During his visit to the Old City as part of 'Swachh Hyderabad' programme on Wednesday, the Chief Minister asked the officials to prioritise the works related to power sub-stations in the Old City. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi told KCR that he has been making representation for establishment of 133 KV Sub-Station in Chanchalguda by acquiring the land of Government Printing Press. He also demanded one more 133 KV Sub-Station at Kishan Bagh by acquiring 2500 sq yards of GHMC park. He also informed the Chief Minister that a Rs 25 crore sub-station was also sanctioned at Petla Burj area. However, works could not be taken up due to non-allotment of land.
KCR assured the MIM chief that he would personally review the projects related Old City and steps would be taken for their early completion.
