Belgium comes forward to invest in Tirupati Hyderabad, May 21: A Belgium delegation met Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu today at Secretariat. Having set up five hotels in Belgium, the delegates evinced interest in expanding their business to Tirupati, giving it a fillip as tourist and spiritual destination.
Stating that Tirupati will be developed as a spiritual center, the Chief Minister emphasized on creating an ecosystem in the pilgrim town by conjoining different spiritual practices.
He directed the Belgium delegation to come up with specific proposals. 'After studying the proposals, we will either go for Swiss Challenge method or according to the policy,' he added.
The Chief Minister said the government's plans to build one-stop entertainment complexes with convention center and theme parks under one roof.
Principal Secretary to CM Satish Chandra, Secretary (Energy & Infrastructure) Ajay Jain and other officials were present.
