I was implicated: Revanth Reddy Hyderabad, May 31 (INN): TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, who was allegedly trapped by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for trying to bribe Anglo-Indian MLA Elvis Stephenson, claimed that he was implicated in a false case at the instance of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Speaking to media persons after his arrest on Sunday evening, Revanth Reddy also alleged that he faces threat to his life from the TRS Government. He said that he has been targetted as he was strongly opposing wrong policies of KCR. He said it was KCR who opened the doors for horse-trading by fielding the fifth candidate in MLC elections. He said he would continue to oppose KCR and expose him. He said he did not try to bribe anyone.
TDP leaders L Ramana and Errabelli Dayakar Rao too alleged that Revanth Reddy faces threat to his life and said TRS Government would be responsible if anything happens to him.
Meanwhile, the ACB sleuths took Revanth Reddy to the ACB Headquarters and informed that he would be produced before the ACB Special Court at Nampally on Monday
