TRS got 5 Seats and Congress one
Hyderabad: In the much awaited MLC Elections from the MLA Quota, Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) has won all the five seats it contested.
Congress party's sole candidate also won.
Including the nominated MLA there are 120 members in the Telangana state assembly. 118 members participated in the elections and two left party MLAs didn't participated in the elections.
Five votes became invalid, officials said.
TRS Candidates Kadiyam Srihari, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Neti Vidyasagar Rao, Yadav Reddy, Bodakunti Venkateswarlu and Congress candidate Akula Lalita won the elections.
