Ruia Group Chairman calls on KCR Hyderabad, June 4 (INN): Pawan Kumar Ruia, Chairman Ruia Group of Companies along with Director Operations Kiran and others called on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao this afternoon at Camp office.
The Chairman expressed his company's interest in setting up new projects in the Telangana State. He told the Chief Minister that his company would like to set up modern and state of art plant for manufacturing railway coaches in collaboration with one of the largest coach manufacturing company of the world based out of Europe. The Chairman also mentioned about their interest to develop a smart city nearby financial district in Hyderabad.
Responding to the Chairman's request, the Chief Minister told them that the world's largest Metro is in Hyderabad and it would be further expanded. He also assured Ruia that the government will extend its support to their efforts and asked them to come down to Hyderabad and they would be made comfortable in their plans. The Chief Minister asked the concerned officers to discuss in detail with the Chairman of Ruia Company about their proposal and find out their requirements.
Member of Parliament. Jitender Reddy, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma, Principal Secretary Narsing Rao, Additional Principal Secretary Shanthi Kumari, Principal Secretary, Industries Aravind Kumar and MD TSIIC E.V. Narsimha Reddy were present in the meeting.
