ACB has evidences to prove Naidu's involvement: Dy CM
Hyderabad, June 4 (INN): Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Thursday claimed that the Anti-Corruption Bureau has sufficient evidences to prove the involvement of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the 'Cash for Vote' case.
Speaking to media persons after taking oath as MLC here, Kadiyam alleged that Naidu was directly involved in the case as it was at his instance that TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy tried to bribe nominated Anglo Indian MLA Elvis Stephenson for voting in favour of party candidate Vem Narender Reddy in MLC elections. He said Naidu largely depended on bribing of MLAs to win the MLC elections as it was impossible for the TDP to win a seat by having the support of just 10 MLAs.
Kadiyam also ridiculed the TDP leaders' allegations that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was responsible for the incident. He said it was wrong to drag KCR's name as he did not gave Rs 50 lakh to Revanth Reddy to hand it over to nominated MLA.
The Deputy CM also slammed TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao for calling him a 'traitor'. He said he had quit the TDP almost two years before the formation of Telangana and participated in the statehood movement. He said it was Chandrababu Naidu who had adopted a dual stand on the issue of Telangana.
