Over 57,000 candidates appear for TS Ed.CET
Hyderabad, June 6 (INN): The TS.Ed.CET-2015 was held across the Telangana State on Saturday from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.
Telangana State Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof. Tummala Papi Reddy has picked up the CET Code at the Conference Hall of TSCHE at Masab Tank.
Of 64,231 candidates registered, 57,884 (92%) candidates appeared for the test and 6,372 candidates were absent. The test was conducted in 134 centres spread over 13 Towns in 10 district across the Telangana State.
Prof. E. Suresh Kumar, Registrar, Osmania University visited various Test Centres along with the TS.Ed.CET Convener Prof. Padala Prasad.
Prof. M.D. Ranga Rao, Registrar, Kakatiya University, Warangal, Prof. R. Limbadri, Registrar, Telangana University, Nizamabad, Prof. Shivraj, Registar, Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar, Prof. U. Umesh Kumar, Regisrar, Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, Pof. Komal Reddy, Registrar, Sathavahana University, Karimnagar have visited the Test Centres during the Test in the respective towns for smooth conduct of the TS.Ed.CET-2015.
The Preliminary KEY will be released on June 11. The last date for receiving any objections on Preliminary KEY is June 18 and the results of the Entrance Test will be declared on June 25.
The entrance examination was conducted in a smooth and fair manner, said the Convener.
