Govt will provide housing for poor: Eatala
Karimnagar, June 7 (INN): Finance Minister Eatala Rajendar has reiterated Telangana Government's commitment to provide shelter to all poor families in the State.
Speaking after distributing patta among poor beneficiaries at Godavarikhani here on Sunday, Eatala said that the State Government has regularised land worth Rs. 11,000 crore under GO Ms 58. He said that the State Government has received 3.36 lakh applications from those who were in illegal possession of land up to 125 sq yards. Of them, the State Government has approved 1.25 lakh applications at free of cost.
Eatala said that the State Government would soon start the 4,000 MW NTPC power project at Ramagundem. He also announced that the coal mining from Singareni Collieries would be extended to other areas so as to generate more employment.
