Govt has nothing to do 'Cash for Vote' case: Tummala Hyderabad, June 11 (INN): Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao on Thursday claimed that the Telangana Government has nothing to do the 'Cash for Vote' case and it did not tap the phones of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu or other leaders and officials.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here, Tummala described it as a case between 'chor' (thief) and 'police' and the Telangana Government should not be dragged into it. He said that the Anti-Corruption Bureau has been investigating the case independently and the Telangana Government could not interfere or stop the probe. He said that the based on the ACB investigation, the court would punish the guilty.
Tummala strongly condemned Naidu for demanding handing over of Law and Order powers in Hyderabad to Governor as per Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act. He alleged that Naidu is trying to misuse the APRA for political gains. He said that the 'Cash for Vote' case has brought shame for all the Telugu speaking people.
