AP woman kills Techie Husband to elope with lover
In order to elope with her lover and settle abroad, a woman killed her techie husband and dumped his body next to a lake in Bangalore. Shilpa Reddy hailing from Andhra Pradesh has allegedly killed her husband, Keshav Reddy , a software engineer working for Actiance India Limited in Langford Town with the help of her cousin and lover Vasudev
Shilpa had laced her husband's juice with sleeping pills and had hit him in his head with a blunt weapon. After confirming death they dumped Keshav's body next to a lake in Srinivaspura in Kolar district.
On Sunday, she called Keshav's brother, Thirumala Reddy to inform that she hasn't heard from him since he left for his hometown near Madanapalle (Chittoor district) in Andhra Pradesh. Shilpa had never before called this way to find out whether Keshav had reached his hometown safely during the many trips that he had made.
After growing suspicious on Shilpa , Thirumala filed a complaint against her. Police tracked the mobile of Shilpa and' the mobile phone tower indicated that she was in the vicinity of the lake late Saturday night. During interrogation, Shilpa ended up admitting the crime.
