KCR expresses grief over Sai Kiran's murder Hyderabad, June 15 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday expressed his condolences to the members of the family of late A Sai Kiran, the Hyderabadi student who was shot dead in Miami of Florida on Sunday.
The Chief Minister has said that with his death the Telangana State has lost one of the bright students.
The Chief Minister's Office has initiated steps to establish contacts with the Indian Consulate at Florida, Secretary Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Government of India in an effort to bring back the body of Sai Kiran to city.
In a wireless message Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma has requested the Indian Consulate to take necessary steps for transportation of dead body from Florida at the earliest. He has also requested the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs to pursue the matter with the Indian Consulate.
