Mid Night Shocker: ACB serves notices to key TDP leaders The game has started finally. After day-long parleys and discussions, the Telangana Government made some swift moves in the Cash for Votes scam.In a major development in the Cash for Vote scam, the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has served a notice on Telugu Desam Party MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah from Sattupally under Section 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) late on Tuesday night.ACB officials went Sandra's official quarters No.208 in Hyderguda a short while ago.
Sandra was not available at that time and the officials passed on the information about the notices.Another leader from the region Vem Narendar reddy who lost in recent MLC elections also gets the notices. After pasting notices on Sattupally MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah's door, the ACB sleuths served a notice on TDP candidate in the recent MLC elections Vem Narender Reddy. It is emerging that ACB asked Narender Reddy to come with them but he refused stating ill health.
Meanwhile, a defiant Sandra Venkata Veeraiah said there was no question of his going underground or evading arrest. "I will face them. I will not be cowed down by the ACB,"he said. In another development, the AP Government has deployed AP police to protect the AP ministers and Chief Minister.
