Naidu to ignore ACB notices After day-long parleys and discussions, the Telangana Government made some swift moves in the Cash for Votes scam. Telangana ACB already served notices to two key leaders of party and as per reports more notices are o its way.
At a time when Telangana ACB is hinting at giving notices to Chandrababu in Cash for Vote, Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up to take action on the phone tapping case.Several cases filed against KCR in Andhra regarding to phone tapping. On the cases filed against KCR in AP, CID already started investigation on the issue.
Other side Andhra Agriculture Minister P. Pulla Rao told reporters that the ACB of Telangana has no right to issue notice to Naidu. If ACB issued notice to Naidu, Andhra government will give a befitting reply; he added.
Stating that there are 87 cases against Chandrasekhar Rao in Andhra Pradesh, he said there were cases being investigated by Special Investigation Team (SIT) and CID.The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government also dismissed reports that Naidu may resign. Party leaders saying that Naidu will ignore notices of Telangana ACB even the latter served.
In another development, the AP Government has deployed AP police to protect the AP ministers and Chief Minister. Late in the night, several TDP leaders, including ministers, reached the residence of TDP MP CM Ramesh.
In another development, a team of Union Home MInistry officials will reach Hyderabad on Wednesday to discuss Section 8 and other outstanding issues between the two Telugu states.It might be mentioned here that the AP Government had been insisting on invoking Section 8 of the AP Reorganization Act alleging threats to the life and properties of Andhra settlers in Hyderabad from the Telangana State leadership.
