KTR denies holding secret meeting Hyderabad, June 18 (INN): Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao, who is on Delhi visit, denied media reports that he held a secret meeting with Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu.
Speaking to media persons in New Delhi on Thursday, KTR said he called up Venkaiah Naidu to make representation on issues concerning Telangana said. He said his meeting had nothing to do with the 'Cash for Vote' case. He said everyone knows the possible outcome of investigation into the 'Cash for Vote' scam. Stating that the law would take its own course, he said that the Telangana Government was focused only on development of the State.
KTR alleged that the TDP leaders have been making lot of hue and cry after they were caught red-handed while trying to bribe one MLA during MLC elections. He ridiculed the TDP's demand for invoking Section 8 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act to hand over Law and Order of Hyderabad to the Governor. He said not a single incident took place in the city since TRS came to power in Telangana in June last year.
