Notices to T news: AP govt's aggressive move Ruling Telugu Desam Party of Andhra Pradesh has escalated its efforts to trouble the Telangana CM KCR. Close on the heels of reports that the Telangana ACB might serve notices to AP CM , AP CID made swift moves.CID police issued notices to T-news channel which was owned by TRS government.
CID sleuths issued notices on midnight at party head office which was located at TRS Bhavan. Other side there was reports that AP CID will issue notices to Sakshi and two key IPS officers reportedly involved in phone tapping. This aggressive move of CID looks like an indication from AP government has evidences of phone tapping.
It is being seen as Andhra Pradesh`s counter to the plans by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana to issue notice to the Andhra Pradesh chief minister in the cash-for-vote scam. As per reports AP CID gathered details of two telecom service providers who allegedly helped the TRS Govt in the tapping. They also reportedly got the copy of a letter allegedly written by a senior IAS officer of Telangana to a service provider authorizing the tapping.
The other day Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao meets the Chief Secretary of Telecom Ministry and submitted a written complaint against the Telangana government for allegedly tapping the phones of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and his ministers.
Meanwhile, AP government has fastened the process of investigation of 87 FIRS filed against KCR. The govt. of AP decided to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the cases lodged against KCR in connection with the phone-tapping of AP leaders and government officials.
