Bruce Lee Fails To Beat Srimanthudu On Day 1 Despite the public talk and critics' verdict, Mega family heroes enjoy tremendous support from Fans and 'Bruce Lee' proved it true yet again. Bruce Lee opened to mixed reviews and negative word of mouth but it didn't showed effect on Day 1 collections.
As per trade, Bruce Lee first day AP/Nizam share is 12.66 crs.
"Bruce Lee" managed to collect 6.96 crores from Andhra, 2.45 crores from Ceeded and 3.25 crores from Nizam. As the film was released on Festival season many expected that it will beat day 1 record of Srimanthudu. But Bruce Lee fell short of Srimanthudu with few lakhs.
This is the third highest opening after Baahubali and Srimanthudu on Day 1. In Overseas, Bruce Lee is going to be biggest grosser for Ram Charan. The film managed around $277K from premieres itself.
The Srinu Vaitla-directed action entertainer opened to an overwhelming response in matinee and afternoon shows. The movie registered an average of 80% occupancy in both single screens and multiplexes everywhere.
Rakul Preet Singh has romanced with Ram Charan in this action packed family entertainer. Directed by Srinu Vaitla, 'Bruce Lee' was made on DVV Entertainment which is owned by DVV Danayya. Thaman has rendered the music of the movie.
