Director EVV Satyanarayana passed away Hyderabad, January 21: Noted film director and producer EVV Satyanarayana passed away on Friday night due to cardiac arrest at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. The famous 53 year old film director has been suffering with throat cancer. He is survived by his two actor sons Aryan Rajesh, Allari Naresh and his wife. EVV has last directed a film Kathi Kantha Rao, with his son Naresh playing the lead role.
Hearing the news of EVV's death actors including Srikanth, Ali, Rajasekhar, Jeevita and many other belonging to film industry visited Apolli Hospitals and paid their last respects to the departed sole of the director.
Eedara Veera Venkata Satyanarayana more popular as EVV hails from West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, has started his film career as an assistant director to Jandhyala and later on become popular director with successive hits. EVV been suffering from throat cancer since two years and was undergoing medical treatment for the condition at the time of his death.
Satyanarayana leaves behind a wife and two sons, actors Aryan Rajesh and Allari Naresh. Both sons have appeared in numerous films directed by their father, although the younger, Allari Naresh has received greater acclaim for his performances than elder brother Aryan Rajesh. The Telegu film industry expressed shock and deep sadness over the news of EVVs sudden demise. Final rites of EVV are expected be held on Saturday at his home in Jubilee Hills.
