Jeevita directs Rajasekhar's Mahankali
Hyderabad: Rajasekhar is playing the role of encounter specialist in a film titled as 'Mahankali' under his wife Jeevita direction. Though, it is learnt, that Kartikeya has been choosen as the director initially, due to differences cropped up with Rajasekhar forced him to withdraw from this project. Susequently, Jeevita herself came forward to direct the film weilding the megaphone.
On the eve of Rajasekhar's bithday on Friday the producers of 'Mahankali' held a press meet to detail about the films progress. Eventually it is Rajasekhar's 25th year in his acting career. He was launched into films by late director T.Krishna with the film Vandemataram.
Speaking at the press meet, Rajasekhar said that 'Mahankali' is about a powerful police officer story who single handled fight against terrorists and goondas. The film, he says would bring him fame and name for his role. Those who saw the films rushes acclaimed that this would become 'Ankusam -2', Rajasekhar claims. Most of the films shooting part has been completed. Canning of a few climax scenes and talkie part remains. Praising his wife and director of the film, Rajasekhar said, Jeevita showed her directorial skills and brilliance in traslating the storyline on to celluloid.
