Venky in Nagavalli 2?
Hyderabad: Venkatesh kick-started 2011 with Nagavalli, that became a huge box office success. Not only did it set cash registers ringing on the first week of its release, but has now completed 50 days in theatres. The film, which is a remake of Kannada film Aaptarakshaka, has been directed by P Vasu and has Kamilini Mukherjee, Anushka Shetty, Richa, Poonam Kaur and Shraddhadas playing vital roles.
Industry sources have it that Venkatesh and producer Bellamkonda Suresh are considering a part two to this suspense thriller looking at the appreciation it has received. The producer is sure that Nagavalli will cross the 100 days mark in theatres. We also hear that superstar Rajnikanth, who has worked in the prequel of the movie - Chandramukhi, called the Bellamkonda Suresh personally to compliment him for the great film. And so we know where the motivation to make a second part is coming from! We wish the team all the best for their venture.
