Charmi fumes over Varma's exploits
Hyderabad: Tollywood beauty Charmi is said to be very upset and angry with 'Dongala Muta' director Ram Gopal Varma for unduly exposing her inner beauty without her knowledge. The actress, it is reliably learnt, is not on talking terms with the director and there are reports that she is not even attending his phone calls nowadays. The reason behind it is said to be his idea to capture her body curves and shapes on camera, in order to highlight them in his 5 day long record project 'Dongala Mutha'.
According to sources, on the advice of actor Ravi Teja, Ram Gopal Varma went to a limit of capturing Charmi's bosom from top angle and thighs and buttocks from down angle. The shot came up very vulgarly, but this all happened without the knowledge of Charmi. When Charmi saw the whole shot on the TV screen on sets, she was taken aback and fumed on Ram Gopal Varma.
She requested him to delete the scene, but the director said to her that, if a woman has beautiful figure, there is no wrong in displaying it to a certain limit. Varma's justification of the shot did not go down well and Charmi since then is not on talking terms with Ram Gopal Varma.
It is heard that she may miss the promotion events of 'Dongala Muta', which is set to hit screen on March 16th, 2011. However unit sources of Dongala Muta say that, she may easily get convinced if she is paid some amount by Ram Gopal Varma. It is a fact that all the cast and crew in this film has worked for free on RGV request. Ravi Teja, Charmi, Prakash Raj, Tanikella, Brahmanandham, Supreet forms the main cast of this film.
