Allu Arjun in land grabbing case HYDERABAD: Cases have been registered against film actor Allu Arjun and his family members by the Cyberabad police on Thursday for allegedly encroaching land belonging to an advocate at Narsingi. The cases were registered following a directive by the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad. According to police, Allu Arjun, his mother Nirmala and two others purchased nearly 14 acre land in survey numbers 131, 163, 164 and 165 of Narsingi panchayat.
An advocate, Rahul Dev S, who also owns a land in the panchayat filed a case in the court alleging that nearly four acre of his land was encroached upon by Allu Arjun and his family members. Following the court direction, Narsingi police registered cases under section 420 (cheating) and sections 468, 471 and 474 of the IPC read with section 34 IPC against Arjun, Allu Nirmala, Allu Sirish and Vasantha Lakshmi, the sister of Allu Aravind. Police said they would verify the land records and sale deeds before taking further action.
