NTR's Shakti to be dubbed in Tamil
Chennai: The Jr. N.T.R ' Ileana D' Cruz starrer 'Shakti' will be dubbed in Tamil and released in Tamil Nadu at the end of this month. The film was touted to be the biggest budget ever made in Telugu cinema. Produced under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies' by Aswini Dutt and directed by Meher Ramesh, the action-based socio-fantasy flick has been made on a whopping budget of Rs.45 crore and has been shot in exotic locales in Africa and Ladakh.
While Mani Sharma has composed the music, there's a buzz that the producer even outsourced its re-recording from Czechoslovakia. Kollywood star Prabhu plays the crucial role of the Home Minister and Ileana plays his daughter in the movie. Nasser and S.P. Balasubramaniam portray pivotal roles. The ensemble cast includes Bollywood stars Jackie Shroff, Pooja Bedi, Sonu Sood and Manjari Fadnis. A Tollywood source adds that even before its release, the producer, is toying with the idea of making a sequel to 'Shakti'.
