T outfit objects to Pawan's 'Teen Maar' title Hyderabad: Pawan Kalyan's yet-to-be-released movie 'Teen Maar' has run into a controversy with activists of a Telangana outfit with the same name taking objection to the film's title. Teen Maar Warangal unit president Ravi said their organisation was formed 14 years ago by a college student to work for the rights of Dalits and backward classes.
Since then it had been fighting against ragging, eve-teasing and other social evils. 'It has also been playing a major role in the Telangana agitation,' he added. Ravi demanded that the film title be changed immediately and warned of staging a protest in front of the actor's house.
The actor's previous film, which was intially titled 'Komaram Puli', also faced a similar problem and had to be later renamed as 'Puli' following threats from Telangana supporters who opposed use of a Telangana freedom fighter's name, Komaram Bheem, in the title.
