Mohan Babu 'padayatra' supporting Hazare
Tirupati: Expressing abhorrence over the growing corruption and rallying firmly behind social activist Anna Hazare, several voluntary organisations and students expressed solidarity with his fast by taking out a 'padayatra' and holding demonstrations on Friday.
Film actor and former member of Rajya Sabha M. Mohan Babu, led a procession of students. The procession started from Albert Einstein statue near S.V. Arts College and culminated at Nalugukalla Mandapam. He lamented India's 'fast rise' in the list of corrupt countries and blamed the political leaders for the same. 'Equally responsible are the people who silently bear the corrupt and discreetly encourage them to rob the nation,' he remarked.
