Tamanna's second innings in Tollywood Hyderabad: Tamanna is all set to launch a second inning of her career in Tollywood. Sources say, perhaps it is the big money that may have lured Tamanna back to Tollywood. The pretty actress having tasted huge success with her entry into telugu films subsequently moved to Tamil films. Having made a great impact on tamil aduience she carved a niche for herself in tamil film industry. However, she recently started signing telugu films with a view to launch her second innings in Tollywood.
She is signing Telugu films left, right and centre. Having acted with popular tamil stars like Vijay and Surya, she is now showing interest to share screen space with the Gen X superstars in T-town. She has completed films with Naga Chaitanya and Allu Arjun, and has just commenced work with Jr NTR. A film with Ram Charan is also on the cards in 2011.
With her T-town career rocking, she hasn't signed any Tamil film. 'Of course, we haven't signed any new Tamil film since she is busy with back-to-back Tollywood films. And also, we don't differentiate between Telugu and Tamil, we like to pick the best among the offers,' says Santhosh Bhatia, father of glam diva.
However, a leading Telugu producer has a different take on it. 'No doubt, she'll cut down on Tamil films since they don't pay her more than Rs 30 lakh. Whereas, our guys will generously shell out `55 lakh to `60 lakh and it will only go upwards,' he says.
