Jr.NTR replace Mahesh Babu for IDEA
Hyderabad: Junior NTR's 'Shakti' is declared a flop and it is a fact beyond any doubt, as the female lead Ileana too has accepted it in an interview. Despite of of facing huge losses, producer Ashwini Dutt is trying his best to promote the movie as a super hit.
It is quite natural in film industry that when a movie proves to be a dud at the box office, the lead pair of the film also have to bear the brunt which comes as a set back to their career's. However 'Shakti' is said to have increased the value of junior NTR among the endorsement brands. He is on a signing spree these days and will be seen in the ad films of Malabar gold, Navaratna Tailam( which is on air) and Amrutanjan soon.
Factually speaking, it is reported that Junior NTR is using his contacts in dealing with the endorsements brands. It is not his hero status, which is earning him brand endorsements. But it is the cheap price, for which he is ready to sign the endorsements.
After seeing his star status decline with 'Shakti', Junior NTR made a move to lower his remuneration for signing ad film deals. This worked in his way and he is not the most sorts after actor in the business. It is reported that junior NTR may also endorse IDEA 3G, which was earlier intending to sign Mahesh Babu, but dropped the plan, on seeing his heavy price quote.
Anyway, the fact is that, one film flop will never affect the stature of junior NTR and if he focuses on his storyline of his next, then he can gain back his star status again.
